Senior Project Manager
Location: High Street, PO12 1EB
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 5+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £389.84 per day

Job Responsibilities

Work with internal teams to define maintenance service needs.
Stay updated on market trends to choose the right service provider.
Create and manage procurement documents like EOIs and ITTs.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers.
Analyze bids and negotiate contracts for favorable terms.
Work with lawyers to finalize service contracts and ensure compliance.
Set up and manage contract performance indicators.
Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and advisors.
Ensure procurement activities follow legal and ethical standards.
Keep detailed records of all procurement activities.

Person Specifications
Must Have

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
5-7 years of experience in procurement or contracts management.
Experience in procuring maintenance or technical services for housing authorities.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of construction management and industry practices.
Attention to detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Understanding of contract law and legal terms.

Nice to Have

Professional certifications like RICS, CIPS, APICS, or CPM.
Experience in managing full tender lifecycle.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
